The Redmi Note line is known in the market as a line of intermediate smartphones. Therefore, we never expect cameras with a quality similar to that of a top of the range. However, that could change with the arrival of the Redmi Note 10.
The leaker Digital Chat Station used its page on Weibo to reveal details about the camera of one of the next smartphones of the Chinese. According to him, the one that should be the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 will come with a 108MP main lens.
Digital Chat Station does not mention the name of the smartphone with this high-quality camera. However, he says that a model ending in “J17” will come with this sensor, accompanied by a telephoto lens and a macro.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 an improved version of the Mi 10T Lite?
Although nothing is certain, this model should be based on the new Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, whose code name is M2007J17G. Since the letter G is usually a reference to the global version of the smartphone, the Redmi Note 10 could be the same smartphone, but for the Chinese market.
Something that further corroborates this theory is its alleged specifications. The same source mentioned yesterday that a mysterious Xiaomi smartphone would be launched with a Snapdragon 750G processor, LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 4820mAh battery.
Despite some differences from the Mi 10T Lite (namely at the camera level), it seems more and more likely that the Redmi Note 10 is just the renaming of the model presented at the end of September. A strategy that is not new to the brand.
If this theory is confirmed and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 arrives in Europe, it cannibalizes the sales of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite. A confusing strategy for the user, but one that Chinese technology insists on.
