A new rumor from Xiaomi is hovering in the air for the launch of a smartphone with a 144MP main camera. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10, I remember, was the first in the world to arrive with a 108MP camera.

That is, as expected, the numbers will continue to rise and Xiaomi wants to continue to lead. According to new information, the brand is working on this 144MP sensor to introduce it in one of the next smartphones.

What will be the Xiaomi smartphone with a 144MP sensor

Some rumors point to a possible Xiaomi Mi 10S, however, I don’t know if I agree. Please note that these speculations are just that. The fact that they are working on a 144MP sensor is one thing, a smartphone to be implemented is another.

Since Xiaomi discontinued the Mi Note 10 in China (CC9 Pro) because it didn’t have 5G and is now part of Xiaomi’s plans, I fully believe that this will be its successor.

Incidentally, it is said that the name of this 144MP device in China will be CC10 Pro. That is the true successor to the Xiaomi Mi Note 10.

On the other hand, it also doesn’t seem to me that this is a smartphone to hit the market in the coming months. Until the end of the year it is still possible (more for the last months of 2020).

This is because Xiaomi has to boost the bet on Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The brand has raised the price of these smartphones considerably. In other words, the risk is greater and the investment will have to be worthwhile.

MegaPixels are not everything in a photo camera

Smartphones have more and more quality cameras. However, I am still one of those who do not want to leave the DSLR (Reflex) at home when he left to take some pictures. This is because when I transfer the photos to the computer I can see the difference in quality.

But we have to face reality. Most people don’t need super quality and the likelihood of seeing those photos on a smartphone is high. That is, improvements in sensors and megapixels are important for smartphones. We just can’t exaggerate and say that the photos are better than Reflex machines (Huawei).
