It was in August last year that Xiaomi revealed to us what was described as the “smartwatch of the future”. Eight months later, the one we look at as a futuristic Mi Band will finally be released.
It was confirmed by the website Indiegogo that it is already on the 28th of April at 5pm in London that the crowdfunding campaign starts. And if you want to stay up to date with all the news you can subscribe to the campaign from the link below.
What is Amazfit X?
This wearable is described as a “smartwatch with a curved screen that serves both a more professional style and fitness”. The generous and curved screen is, in fact, its great distinguishing feature.
To get a sense, this flexible panel promises to provide more than 250% available screen than other devices of the same size. In total, we can count on 2.07 inches on a color AMOLED panel.
A battery for seven days is promised, with features such as a heart rate sensor operating 24 hours a day, as well as the existence of an electrocardiogram sensor as it exists on the Apple Watch.
The screen has 326ppi, 400 nits of brightness and can display a lot of information. If the crowdfunding campaign succeeds, Huami and Xiaomi will launch it to the market.
