This new technology promises to be the future of smart homes. Although over time it may be implemented more naturally in other types of gadgets.

Interestingly, Xiaomi today showed us an example of UWB technology in a video (above) in which we see the technology being used in the brand’s smart gadgets.

In summary, users only need to point the smartphone at a specific gadget that the application opens automatically for faster interaction.

That is, you will not need to open the application to control the lights. You simply point your smartphone at the lights and you’re done. In addition, Xiaomi even revealed that it works even with smart locks. These locks are released as soon as the user approaches the door.

” Technology is always evolving, but every now and then, a new feature appears and we instantly know that it is something special – like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Samsung believes that Ultra-Wideband (UWB) is a communication technology without revolutionary yarn. That’s why we are working tirelessly to advance and deploy it as quickly as possible in our products . ” – You mentioned Samsung in a press release.

In short, decorate this UWB name. Especially if you are building a smart home.
