Spotify now allows you to add a personalized image to your playlists from a smartphone.
A function which was, for the time being, reserved for the PC and which therefore arrives on Android and iOS.
Say it with a Spotify Playlist
In time for the end of the year, Spotify is bringing a new feature to all of its subscribers. Indeed, the latter can now personalize a playlist created by themselves via an image uploaded from a smartphone.
According to Spotify, this will allow some to “offer” a personalized playlist to their loved ones. “Wondering what to get your friends and family this holiday season? Nothing says “I’m thinking of you” better than a personalized playlist. (This is actually the new mixtape) ”explains the audio streaming giant.

Adding a personalized image to a playlist is nothing new, but it was only possible from a PC. From now on, this same customization is possible from an iOS or Android smartphone.
To do this, simply create a playlist, then select the “Settings” option (using the three small dots), and add the image of your choice, directly from the smartphone’s image library.
Once you are happy with your creation, it is obviously possible to share it and give it as a gift to your family and friends. Not sure, however, that this succeeds in replacing the PS5 ordered by your little cousin at Christmas …
