As a gaming peripherals and equipment company, Razer was not expected to contribute to fighting the COVID-19 outbreak. However, Razer will join the list of companies that are making donations for the sake of fighting the pandemic.
The company will team up with several partners in a $ 50 million cumulative fund. Partners are Razer Gold, Razer Fintech and zVenturas. These Razer subsidiaries will work to reduce costs and help with healthcare-related food.

This is not Razer’s first step in combating COVID-19
Previously, Razer took a step in the manufacture of surgical masks. The company adapted some of its factories and production lines to manufacture the necessary masks. According to Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan, the goal is to donate 1 million masks and distribute them all over the world, where the priority will be the areas most affected by the pandemic.
It is noble for Razer to focus part of its revenues on fighting the outbreak. The CEO also stated that the purchase of Razer products has been increasing due to the quarantine. In this sense, the company intends to thank this increase, helping health authorities around the world.
