Since the end of last year, much has been said about the arrival of the first front cameras below the screen. Now, although brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, Huawei and Samsung have been working on this technology for a long time, Nokia may be the first to launch a smartphone with a camera under the screen.
The new information was published by the renowned website NokiaPowerUser, which cites sources close to HMD Global, confirming that Nokia 9.3 PureView should be the first smartphone to arrive equipped with a front camera under the screen.

Nokia 9.3 PureView can guarantee the return of the brand to the “limelight”
Nokia has not been able to assume a prominent position in the high-end segment for a long time, continuing to face major obstacles in the launch of its new smartphones. However, it seems that everything is aligning so that the Nokia 9.3 PureView can represent a real page turn in the history of the brand.
According to the same source, the manufacturer carried out several tests where it used the said camera under the screen and also a pop-up camera. Even though the process of developing the technology that allows the camera to be placed under the screen was at an early stage, everything indicates that the results were able to please HMD.
Therefore, they are already planning their implementation on the next high-end smartphone to be launched commercially, the Nokia 9.3 PureView.
In addition to the presence of the front camera under the screen, it is also confirmed that it will arrive with the new PureDisplay V3 technology, which in addition to improved features, supports an update rate of up to 120Hz.
The new Nokia 9.3 PureView is still shrouded in great mystery
After having its presentation postponed, there are still many details to be unveiled regarding the specifications of Nokia 9.3 PureView. Still, some details have been revealed in previous leaks and rumors.
Apparently, this smartphone will arrive equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which will not be a problem if they end up launching it later this year.
In addition, several rumors point to the presence of a rear photographic module with 5 cameras, where a 108 megapixel sensor and another 64 megapixel sensor are expected. With regard to its front camera (below the screen), it was mentioned in several rumors that it would have a 48 megapixel sensor.
