Following the introduction of new versions of Model S and Model X, Elon Musk left us a hint of what to expect from the next version of the Roadster. According to the CEO of Tesla, the next version of this sports car will have a range of over 1000 km.

To confirm these values, the future Tesla Roadster will be a true champion in terms of autonomy. This range will be higher than that recorded on any other electric car these days.

The current model of the Tesla sports car has an autonomy of about 997 km. The differential may not be absurd between one version and another, but it will certainly be another milestone for the company of Elon Musk.

Future Roadster will have even more autonomy than the current model

The Tesla Roadster was officially introduced in late 2017 but has not yet begun to reach consumers. In fact, it is expected that this sports car will only begin to be distributed next year.

We are talking about an electric car that costs about $ 200,000. It’s not a car for any wallet, but anyone who has the budget to buy it will have a real racing machine in their garage.

The Tesla Roadster offers an acceleration that can take you from 0 KM / h to 100 km / h in just 1.9 seconds. As if that were not enough, it has a top speed of 400 km / h.

These are already sweeping numbers, but they will surely be passed as soon as the new version is introduced. It is, however, still too early for this to happen.

Firstly, Tesla will want to put this car in the hands of the drivers and only then will begin to think more seriously about its successor. But if things continue at this rate, we will have a car closer and closer to being able to compete in Formula 1.
