Facebook has been the target of several changes in its graphic aspect, especially on mobile platforms. For its web version, new features were promised last January and behold, they finally start to be fulfilled.
Starting today, Facebook begins to receive a new design on the web platform. Aesthetic changes clearly inspired by its mobile applications and offering greater uniformity between platforms.

Here’s the new Facebook design

The new interface of the largest social network in the world is simpler than ever. In the center, all your friends’ publications and the pages you like will continue to appear.
The menus have not undergone major changes, maintaining their positions and respective information. That is, it will not be necessary to get used to this interface since it will not undergo a revolution. It is more simple and minimalist.
How to activate the new Facebook interface
Mark Zuckerberg’s company reports that the new design is now available to all users. This distribution will take place over the next few months, so don’t despair if you haven’t yet been one of the winners.
To find out if you are already entitled to the new design just perform the following steps:
- Click on the small menu arrow in the upper right corner
- Then choose Switch to the new Facebook
If this option is not yet available, it’s a matter of trying over the next few weeks. You will certainly have this option available soon.
Facebook web is already entitled to Dark Mode
This dark mode is increasingly popular in the market and Facebook could not fail to implement it in its web version as well. However, it can only be activated when you receive the new interface.
- Click on the small menu arrow in the upper right corner
- Activates Dark Mode
That said, your Facebook will now be dominated by black. It will be an option to take into account when the lighting conditions are lower or due to personal taste.
