Apple Watch users were complaining about a frustrating mistake. Clocks connected to devices running iOS 9.3.6 or earlier were unable to make Facetime calls. The same was true of Apple Watches that tried to make Facetime calls with Macs running El Capitan 10.11.6 or earlier.
This error was caused by watchOS but has already been fixed by Apple. Through an update released today, Apple has resolved this annoying bug. The update is version 6.2.1. If you are experiencing this error, check if you already have the update available although you should probably have already received the notification to do so.
Also with regard to watchOS, this update only corrects this bug. Thus, it should be the last update of the operating system for Apple Watch before the revelation of watchOS 7, whose Beta version should arrive in June, with the final version launched in October.
Regarding iOS, since the error was also occurring on iPhones, an update was released for the operating system of Apple mobile phones. Thus, if you have an iPhone, you should soon receive the iOS 13.4.1 version.
Apple profits will suffer this quarter
Apple recently announced that it will reveal its revenue for the last fiscal quarter in late April. Projections were originally between $ 60 billion to $ 67 billion but are expected to be well below that.
This decline in revenues is due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and its negative impact on the world of technology. Apple closed stores and factories, severely affecting the flow of customers and supplies worldwide.
