It’s been a long time since Apple introduced a renewed line of iMacs. In this sense, many are waiting for a renewal of this equipment, something that may occur in the second half of this year.
With that in mind, today a new report arrives from China that brings us excellent news. According to what is advanced, Apple is preparing to launch a new iMac much cheaper than we have seen.
New 23-inch iMac could be launched in the second half of the year
Although the source talks about a more accessible iMac, it does not go with the values that it can cost. The cheapest model currently on the market is the 21.5 inch, which starts at € 1268. Therefore, it is expected that the next model can be sold below this value.
Apparently, the new 23-inch iMac will result from an aesthetic renovation of the 21.5-inch model. Its physical dimension will remain, but thanks to the reduction of its margins, Apple will be able to introduce a bigger screen. Something similar to what was done with the 16-inch Macbook Pro.
Its specifications also remain secret, for now. If Apple is really planning to launch this product, it will be a matter of time before we learn more about your hardware.
New 11-inch iPad is also expected to be unveiled
Other novelties are reflected in the Apple tablet line. According to Chinese sources, the American company is planning to launch a new 11-inch iPad.
This is also expected to be revealed in the second half of the year and will replace the cheapest Apple models in this segment. We are talking about a possible successor for the 10.2 inch iPad or the 10.5 inch Air.
In view of the aforementioned timetable, it is possible that these presentations will be made only in October. It is already Apple’s habit to introduce new iMacs in the fall, so it is likely that it will be replicated.
