Xiaomi and Nokia: These are the first smartphones to receive Android Q

The next version of Google’s operating system for smartphones has not yet been formally presented, but its main news has already been made known by the company. Now we see the first confirmations of Xiaomi and Nokia regarding the upgrade plans for Android Q.

Both manufacturers have already announced which would be their first smartphones to be updated.

The tenth version of the Android operating system, known for already as Q, or Android Q, continues to be developed by Google. In this way, we count on the availability to the manufacturers, as well as the revelation of its official name, at the end of the summer. We expect your arrival in August or September.

For HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia smartphones, the Nokia 8.1 device will be the first smartphone to join the beta program. Later, when distributing the final and stable version, will also be one of the first to receive the new version of the operating system .

Already for Xiaomi, the smartphones elected were the Xiaomi Mi 9, as well as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G. Likewise, these devices are in the front line to receive, later, the final version that also should support some versions of MIUI 11. Until then, you can use the 3rd beta version of Android Q.

More and more manufacturers are reinforcing the commitment to upgrade their smartphones. Something that will surely please its users.
